JOHN E. COZEAN
John E. Cozean is partner and founder of Cozean Law Firm. With 18 years of private practice experience, he has represented small businesses and individuals, as well as clients from a variety of industries, including healthcare, retail, and hospitality. Each of his cases is unique, and Cozean emphasizes personalized service, working directly with his clients over the course of representation.
Cozean received his Bachelor of Arts from Wake Forest University in 1993. He worked for the United States House of Representatives and the Missouri State Senate before graduating from Western Michigan University, Cooley Law School in 1998 with a Juris Doctor, Cum Laude. He was admitted to practice in Missouri and Michigan in 1998, and was also admitted in the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth and Eighth District. After graduation, he served as law clerk to the Honorable Stephen N. Limbaugh, Jr., Judge of the Missouri Supreme Court, before entering into private practice.
Originally from Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Cozean currently lives in Sikeston with his wife, Nicole, and son, Jack.
